FEEDBACK EBay’s feedback system is open to all kinds of abuse. For some reason, buyers FREQUENTLY take advantage when sellers leave feedback first. We often receive threats from people demanding things they weren't entitled to. For instance, returns because people didn't read the listing and they bought something they didn’t want. People wanting me to refund shipping if Priority Mail showed in 4 days instead of 3 - all under the threat of negative feedback. It's gotten so bad, that eBay has actually added functionality for a seller that allows them to have positive feedback automatically left when positive feedback is received. I use that functionality and as soon the buyer leaves me positive feedback, they automatically receive positive feedback. Does that mean that those who leave negative feedback automatically get negative feedback? If believe that if a seller is ethical about his business practices that all parties will be happy. Thus, there’s no need for negative feedback. However, some customers act before they think and I don’t believe that’s excusable.
