Pocket PC plus GPS! This unit is terrific -- useful, reliable, attractive, effective. I have used this unit gently and occasionally since May 2008. I have an iPhone 3G (with GPS) and I am choosing to get a different kind of Pocket PC now, so this unit is going to eBay. I have owned many palm-sized computers of both Palm and Pocket PC varieties, and I find this one of the most attractive and scratch-resistant. I think you'll find that it looks as good as it did when I opened it new several months ago. The finish on the plastic case is satin; same with the screen. I did not add a screen protector because the finish was so tough, and I believe the flawless surface of the screen today confirms my bet. The GPS software is TomTom Navigator 6. I've used it driving in Oregon and Washington and it grabbed the satellites promptly and effectively. You SHOULD be able to add European maps to the SD card, by buying and downloading them from TomTom, but I have not yet done this. The unit runs Windows Mobile 5. The processor is fast and the unit is responsive. The HP slip case is included. It has carried the unit in a leather purse from time to time, so there are a few little leather "burrs" stuck to the flannel lining -- no biggie. It's a great case, simple and attractive. I'm throwing in a 2 GB SD card so you have something to start with. Because of all the cables lying around my house, I did not use the charge-and-sync cable that came with the unit, nor the wall plug. They are "fresh." I also did not unwrap the dashboard mount for the unit. The manual (a rare breed these days) and the start-up disk are in the box. I did open the disk. I will include the original sales slip to confirm the unit's vintage. Please read reviews and descriptions of the unit around the web. It does all the things Pocket PCs do (because it IS one). It does NOT have a camera. It plays back audio and video of various types. There are literally hundreds of programs and games you can add to the unit, some inexpensive, some very expensive. It has flawlessly interfaced with my Microsoft Exchange account at work, through WiFi. Pretty cool.
