NO SCRATCHES!!! Battery takes a charge no problem, however, battery life expectancy is unknown and NOT warranted. Batteries for these units are very affordable and only cost about 8.00 (that is only if needed). We have sold over 200 of these units and have not received any complaints about the battery but I need to let buyers know just in case. Chances are slim that you will even need one.
