ou are bidding on a brand new white Pantech C150 cell phone from AT&T. No contract is required. Just insert your own AT&T or Cingular SIM Card., the phone should work like a charm. Several of my colleagues got this phone for free from a corporate conference last week. The phone is not unlocked so it can only be used for AT&T’s and Cingular’s GSM network. Since they are Sprint or Verizon customers (CDMA network), so they ask me to sell the phone on their behaves. To protect my eBay reputation, I tested every phone with my own SIM Card thoroughly to ensure they are in the pristine conditions before creating this auction. I was amazed by the $200 MSRP value of this phone at the local retail store. I guess the sleek design has something to with the price. Anyway, here is the deal for you: I have totally 3 phones on hands. I am an AT&T customer, so I might keep one for myself. The winner of this auction will get one for sure regardless of the price. Within hours after the auction ends, I will make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder who bids with reasonable price (Bidding price below $60 will not receive second chance offer regardless of their final auction ranking). If you are not an AT&T customer currently but have an active SIM Card with a different GSM carrier (T-Mobile, Rogers, Orange, American Movil, O2, China Mobile, etc.), you can use this site to remotely unlock the phone after you receive it. Once the phone is unlocked you can use it in any GSM network around the world or resell for higher price :-) Not only this way of listing saves me some money, but also I don’t have to pass the cost to the winners and therefore save you some money as well. There is no reserve price. At least one phone will sell. I am a good eBay citizen. I won’t cancel bids or end listing earlier for any reason. Thanks for your attention and happy bidding.   Overview:The Pantech C150 brings you everything you need rolled into one sleek design. Instead of answer them individually (which limits to 1000 characters), I would like to share them to everyone so there won’t be any ambiguity in the future.   All the Pantech phones I got are from my colleagues who got them from a promotion booth in a corporate conference last week. Of course they are free as you may expect. As long as I can cover all the selling fees and etc., we will donate the rest to our schools’ alumni programs. So if you are Blue Devils fans, please chip in some :-)   The phones are not in the retail packages. I just uploaded a second picture to show exactly how the package looks like. However, they are brand new and in excellent conditions. The screen and camera lens protector have never been removed. Below is a series of tests I performed on each phone with my own SIM Card: Pair with Bluetooth headsets. Motorola S9 Make and receive phone calls to real person with build-in microphone, build-in speakerphone, or Bluetooth headsets. The call quality is no different from my Blackberry. Make phone calls to automate voice recognition system with build-in microphone, build-in speakerphone, and Bluetooth headsets. Microphone and Bluetooth work seamlessly. Need to speak a little bit louder on speakerphone. Import Address book and set and test speed dial. OK Taking pictures and set as photo caller ID. Pass. I am a digital photographer and don’t believe camera phone is the replacement of DSLR. Besides photo caller ID, I won’t use the phone to take any other kind of pictures. Taking videos. OK Taking voice meos. OK Send and receive SMS and MMS with T9. OK Test Yahoo Mail and Yahoo IM. OK Test MEdia Net, this is not a 3G phone, so the speed is slow. Test tools on the phone: notepad, calculator, unit converter, world time, calendar, alarm, and stop watch. OK. Test the games on the phone. I don’t play games on cell phone in general so as long as the game runs, I pass the test. Customize the settings. OK Recharge the battery to full. OK Reset to factor default and never touch the phone again.   The phone is ultra light and compact. I might keep one for myself for running outside or other outdoor activities when my bulky Blackberry seems a little bit awkward. But I will still use Blackberry in normal daily tasks. Pantech C150 is not the replacement for that.   The retail price without a 2-year contract commitment is $200. The average selling price on eBay is about $110. I let you determine the fair market value of my phones. I won’t make a second chance offer below $60. That’s not negotiable.   eBay is my friend, but it is not my day job. I am selling the phone as it is and no return is permitted. I only make transactions through eBay and Paypal because it’s convenient, safe, and fair for every eBayer. So no check, West Union or under the table cash offer please.   Altogether, I hope I made this clear to the current bidders as well as potential bidders. If you bid before my update was posted, you may retract your bids. Sorry for the inconvenience that may cause. Otherwise, thanks again and happy bidding.
